My comfortable walking shoes with thick soles gave out today - the sole cracked through. But I was also blessed by seeing a kingfisher. I went down to the lake by Tomona to relieve myself and it flew into a tree not 12 feet away. Now that's a reason to keep it up!Joc Sandershttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06290924194054115128noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2370167300693832881.post-24837062427308003712009-01-08T13:37:00.000+00:002009-01-08T13:37:00.000+00:00Good plan to do your walking resolution. When you wondered how long you'd keep it up - I thought I could suggest a handy way to help you keep your resolution - which after all is a promise to yourself. Why don't you resolve to do it for the month of January. If it's working out well for you then you can keep doing after that, and any which way you won't be letting yourself down.

My resolution is to do the washing up each evening for the month of January and not let it turn into one scary pile of 3 days washing up. Seems trivial I know - but I suspect it might be the answer to inner peace.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
